CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago Police have shot and wounded a man near Humboldt Park.
It happened about 4:30 in the morning.

Fraternal Order of Police Spokesman Pat Camden says someone on the street told police that a man had a gun in a car near Central Park and Chicago.
Camden says officers stopped the car and told the man they wanted to see his hands.
“He’s very reluctant… kind of hunched-over at the steering wheel. The officer standing on the passenger side shines a light into the car. He now sees the guy straightening up. He’s got a sawed-off shotgun in his hand, pointed at the officer.
“At that point, the officer defends himself and fires two shots.”
Camden says the man took off in his car – but crashed it several blocks away…
